Foryou Multimedia Electronics Attains ISO/SAE 21434 ML3 Automotive Cybersecurity Certification

TÜV Rheinland, an international independent third-party testing, inspection and certification body, has officially awarded Foryou Multimedia Electronics — a wholly-owned subsidiary of Foryou Corporation — the ML3 cybersecurity management system certification in accordance with the ISO/SAE 21434:2021 standard.

This certification validates that Foryou Multimedia Electronics has established a mature, well-structured and effectively operating cybersecurity management system in the automotive electronics sector, with its overall capabilities fully meeting the requirements of this internationally authoritative standard.

As the first international standard dedicated to automotive cybersecurity engineering, ISO/SAE 21434 addresses road vehicle cybersecurity risks across the entire product lifecycle, including concept, development, production, operation and decommissioning. It is designed to help automotive OEMs and suppliers implement comprehensive cybersecurity risk management for road vehicles, in alignment with global automotive cybersecurity regulatory requirements.

Achieving Maturity Level 3 (Defined & Continuously Practiced) means the company has not only built complete cybersecurity management processes, but also possesses the capability to scale and implement them in complex development practices. Going beyond basic compliance, this milestone demonstrates that cybersecurity has evolved from static procedural requirements into a core competency deeply embedded in the organization’s dynamic operations.

The certification was delivered through a practical project with an international OEM. For the automotive electronic product involved, Foryou Multimedia Electronics completed a full closed-loop workflow covering threat analysis, risk management, development & testing, and operation & maintenance response. The implementation systematically covers the complete value chain from concept to mass production, and strictly aligns with regulatory requirements including UN R155. This achievement lays a solid compliance foundation for deepening project cooperation with international customers, expanding into new overseas markets, and advancing the company’s global business footprint.

This marks the second Foryou subsidiary to earn this authoritative certification, following Foryou General Electronics — another wholly-owned subsidiary of the group — which successfully obtained ISO/SAE 21434:2021 (Road vehicles — Cybersecurity engineering) certification in 2024. The dual certification further strengthens Foryou Corporation’s standardized management framework in the automotive cybersecurity domain.
