ADAYO & Nanjing Parallel Vision Launch Joint Waveguide AR-HUD Solution @ Auto China 2026
On April 26, at Auto China 2026, Foryou Multimedia Electronics (FME), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Foryou Corporation (Brand: ADAYO), signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Nanjing Parallel Vision Technology Co., Ltd. Adhering to the principles of industry-university-research integration, complementary advantages and mutual benefit, both sides jointly established theForyou Multimedia Electronics - Nanjing Parallel Vision Waveguide Technology Joint Laboratory, dedicated to the joint R&D of waveguide technology applied to automotive AR-HUD scenarios. Yang Jing, General Manager of the HUD Business Unit at FME, and Professor Zhang Yuning, Founder of Nanjing Parallel Vision Technology Co., Ltd., attended the signing ceremony.

During the event, Yang Jing delivered a keynote speech, presenting FME’s comprehensive HUD solution portfolio and medium-to-long-term development strategy. As a leading player in China’s automotive electronics industry, FME has deeply cultivated the automotive HUD track for more than a decade and maintained a robust market position. In 2025, FME’s HUD products achieved a domestic market share of25.6% (Data source: Gasgoo Research Institute), with annual shipments exceeding 1.8 million units, ranking first in the domestic market.
Having completed two developmental stages — Foundation & Initiation and Leadership & Expansion — FME has entered its third five-year development cycle from 2026 to 2030, themed Innovation & Transformation. Cutting-edge display technologies represented by waveguide optics serve as one of the core strategic focuses for this new cycle.
With the rapid iteration of automotive intelligence and advanced driver-assistance systems, HUD has evolved into a core human-machine interaction carrier for smart cockpits. Constrained by inherent physical limitations, traditional HUD products cannot perfectly satisfy the comprehensive demands for long-distance imaging, large-format display and compact in-vehicle layout. Featuring innovative optical architecture and advanced craftsmanship, waveguide technology delivers distinct advantages including ultra-compact size, high brightness and high contrast. It enables seamless fusion of infinite virtual imaging distance and real-world scenes, while significantly improving layout flexibility for automotive applications.
Founded by the research team of Professor Zhang Yuning and Professor Weng Yishi from Southeast University, Nanjing Parallel Vision is rooted in the technical resources of Southeast University and the Shicheng Laboratory for Advanced Display and Visual Perception, focusing on display optics and holographic imaging technologies. As the pioneer of Polarization Volume Grating (PVG) waveguide technology, the company owns in-depth technical accumulation and a comprehensive patent portfolio, possessing full-chain intellectual property rights covering material research, optical design and mass production. It has built a complete R&D system covering holographic materials, diffractive waveguides and optical modules, with products widely applicable to near-eye display and automotive head-up display scenarios.
Through this strategic cooperation, FME and Nanjing Parallel Vision will leverage their respective strengths to drive the technological upgrading of automotive display technologies via industry-university-research collaboration. Both parties will further expand cooperation boundaries, exploring emerging display fields such as AR glasses and light field displays, continuously enriching product forms and delivering diversified, high-quality visual interaction experiences for end users.
Industry-university-research integration is a vital approach for enterprises to enhance technological innovation capabilities and accelerate the marketization of university research achievements. This cooperation marks a key milestone for FME in the layout of cutting-edge optical display technologies. Moving forward, both parties will continue to break technological boundaries, empowering global vehicle users with safer, smarter and more immersive future driving experiences.
